Lallaux — Handcrafted Cloisonné Enamel Masterpieces

Jardin de Minuit

The ring that took 100 years to return

In 1926, Maison Lallaux created a ring called Jardin de Minuit, a midnight garden captured in cloisonné enamel. It was handcrafted for a single patron. No replica was ever made.

One hundred years later, our master artisans have brought it back to life. Sketched, painted, and forged entirely by hand in the centuries-old cloisonné tradition:

gold wire and fire.

Catherine Love, 1926

The original Jardin de Minuit was created for Catherine Love, a Scottish beauty and patron of the arts, who commissioned the ring from Maison Lallaux in the years following the First World War.

She wanted a ring that held a garden she could carry with her, even in the darkest season. The master artisans of the Maison answered with the cloisonné enamel masterpiece: petals and leaves rendered in fire, set in gold, and sealed forever under vitreous glaze.

One ring. One woman. One century ago.

Forged by Hand

Gold wire is bent by hand into the contours of each petal and leaf. Powdered glass enamel is applied, then fired at 800°C. After cooling, the surface is ground and polished to reveal the final design. Each step is performed by a master artisan. No machines. No shortcuts.
